Giving back to our community
One of my favourite projects is Suurbraak.co.za, a community website I created to celebrate and support the village of Suurbraak. From building and maintaining the website to managing its social media channels, I share local news, events, business features, tourism information, and community stories. It's a project close to my heart and a way for me to use my creative skills to give back to the community.

Red Hot Blue Design Concepts was established in 2008. Today, Mandy's studio is located in the picturesque vilage of Suurbraak just outside Swellendam, Western Cape. Mandy is a hands-on creative powerhouse with 30+ years shaping fashion, graphic design, and brand stories. From early concept sketches to product manufacturing, right through to retail and digital marketing, she’s done it all, and the results speak for themselves.
Having worked with some of South Africa’s top retailers and manufacturers, Mandy built a deep, practical understanding of the entire creative process. That foundation fueled the launch of her own venture, Red Hot Blue Design Concepts, back in 2008 and she’s been pushing boundaries ever since
